About this policy
Master Electric Gates LA (we, us or our) explains here how we handle personal information through masterelectricgaterepair.com, service inquiries, customer communications and our gate, garage door and access control services. This notice does not replace a separate service agreement or another provider’s privacy notice.
Information we collect and why
Our service form requires your name, phone number, email address, requested service and the service street address, city, state and ZIP code. Unit number, urgency and problem details are optional. We use this information to respond, assess coverage, discuss estimates and coordinate service. Without the required details, we may be unable to respond or arrange a visit.
We also receive information you provide by phone, email or service text, and maintain relevant estimates, appointment details and service correspondence. Information comes directly from you or from a person authorized to arrange service, such as a property manager. Please provide another person’s details only with appropriate authority.
The website form is not a payment form and has no file upload. Do not submit payment card numbers, identity documents, gate codes or account passwords. Ask us separately how to coordinate any access information needed for a visit.
Website requests transmit technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and time to our hosting infrastructure. Hosting and email systems use technical records to deliver requests, maintain the service, investigate errors and protect against abuse. Our form uses a hidden spam detection field. Submitted form fields are delivered to our business email; the form is not configured to collect a separate Elementor submissions database.
How we use and disclose information
We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, arrange and document requested work, provide support, maintain business records, handle privacy requests and meet legal obligations. Authorized personnel and technicians receive information needed for their work.
Operational providers include Hostinger for website hosting and business email, WordPress and Elementor for the website and form software, Joist for estimates, and NumberBarn for current telephone services. These roles do not mean that each provider receives every form field. Communications and service records are disclosed only as relevant to the service being used. A planned provider change is not treated as already active.
We do not provide customer inquiries to independent businesses for their own follow up and do not use customer lists for third party marketing. We may disclose necessary information to professional advisers, insurers or authorities for a legal obligation, dispute, claim or legitimate security investigation. A lawful business transfer may involve relevant records, subject to applicable requirements and notices.
Calls, email and service texts
We use your contact details to respond to your request and communicate about estimates, appointments and service updates. We do not currently send promotional email or promotional text messages, or record or transcribe calls. Submitting a request is not consent to promotional messages or call recording.
Tell us by email or phone if you prefer a different contact method or want service texts to stop. We may still need to communicate information necessary to an active job or meet a legal obligation. Message and data charges from your carrier may apply. Do not use a website request as an emergency dispatch channel.
Cookies, analytics and Google Maps
Nonessential Google Analytics tracking is disabled for this launch. We do not activate advertising pixels, session recording or cross site advertising tracking on these pages. Necessary website technology may be used to deliver forms, support authorized administration and protect the service. Fonts and the site’s image assets are served locally.
Maps load only when you select Load Google map. Loading a map connects your browser to Google, which can receive your IP address, browser information and interactions and may use cookies or identifiers under its own practices. Following a Google profile or review link also takes you to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Our map is not intentionally supplied with the fields you enter in the service form.
You can restrict cookies through your browser, although some features may be affected. This website does not change its behavior in response to the older Do Not Track browser signal. No optional cross site advertising tracking is enabled regardless of that signal. Global Privacy Control is a distinct signal; we do not enable sale or sharing for cross context behavioral advertising on this website. External services you choose to open have their own controls.
How long we keep information
Our standard retention period is one year after the last substantive contact for inquiries that do not become jobs, and one year after job completion for ordinary service correspondence. Our retention schedule calls for a monthly review of eligible records; deletion is not automatic at an exact instant.
Records needed for taxes, agreements, warranties, insurance, disputes, privacy requests or another legal obligation may be retained longer for that purpose. These exceptions do not authorize unrelated marketing. Technical records and provider backups are retained according to their operational purpose and available provider controls; backup copies may persist until their normal expiry. Public project media and permission records are reviewed for continued relevance and permitted use, separately from ordinary correspondence.
Project photos and security
Submitting a service request does not grant permission to publish identifiable customer information or photographs. Please contact us about a privacy concern involving project media. We can review material we control but cannot promise removal of copies held by independent platforms.
Access to customer information should be limited to the people and providers who need it for the stated purpose. No website or transmission method is completely secure. This statement does not waive legal rights or our obligations. Notify us promptly about a suspected privacy or security problem.
Your requests and California rights
You may ask us to review, correct or delete your personal information, or change communication preferences. We assess requests under applicable law and necessary retention obligations. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity or authority before disclosing records or making a sensitive change. Do not send identity documents or passwords in an ordinary service request. An authorized representative may contact us with appropriate evidence of authority.
Where California privacy rights apply, they may include access, correction, deletion, portability and choices about sale or sharing and certain sensitive information uses. We handle qualifying requests within applicable time limits, subject to lawful exceptions, and do not discriminate unlawfully for exercising privacy rights. Contact us if a request method is inaccessible. This notice does not restrict rights available under applicable law.
Children and policy changes
This website is intended for adults arranging property services, not children. Do not submit children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review it.
We post policy changes here and update the date above. Where required, we provide additional notice before materially different practices take effect. Continued browsing does not itself authorize recording, promotional communications or otherwise unrelated uses.
